FTBE - First Certificate in Teaching Business English (EDI - London Chamber of Commerce + Industry)

FTBE is a foundation certificate for newly qualified general English teachers who wish to branch out into teaching business English. It's an exam-based qualification which any centre registered with EDI can run on demand.

You may want to run your own course for your own teachers or, over time, offer the programme commercially to external candidates.

We provide the following support:

Implementation training via two interactive webinars providing an overview of the qualification, how to deliver, price and market it commercially.  Implementation training request.

Complete support package. Our FTBE expert, Julian Kenny, will come out and train your trainer to deliver FTBE at your centre. As part of this service he will help you customise your own materials package so your centre can deliver the FTBE yourself. He'll leave you with  a complete set of materials incorporating lesson plans with relevant exercises, YouTube and podcast links, sets of customisable slides, past examination papers and tips on examination technique and how to facilitate the exam itself.
