How are your webinars different?

Webinars generally fall into two categories: selling you a product/service or a type of workshop with lots of participants texting and messaging each other and turning into an interactive discussion or debate. Whilst these have their value, our webinars are focused on high quality professional development training. As such, they are run with small groups of no more than 15, facilitated by an expert with pre and post webinar tasks and coaching. Some of our webinars can even earn you Masters credits. We also want you to tell us what kind of professional development you need and want so we can create webinars that fulfil your training needs. Return to top

Why do you include business English and even general English language teachers in your target groups?

In our experience many English language teachers are delivering more and more business or specialist English. In turn, business English trainers are being required to deliver more and more soft skills and personal development training by default. We believe these trainers will value having extra support to do this. Return to top

What do you mean by “soft skills” and “21st century skills”?

"Soft skills" is an umbrella term for skills that are harder to measure or pinpoint. Things like being able to present dynamically, be a fantastic team player, facilitate great meetings, collaborate with others well. We use the term “21st century skills” because governments and educational bodies globally now know that it’s these soft skills, among others, which are needed more than ever – being able to lead others, improvise in times of great change, network effectively. And teachers and trainers are being asked to develop these skills in others. Return to top
